Keep The Vote launches Georgia site
Voter education organization debuts its first service to assist Georgia voters
Keep The Vote today launched its first state-specific website, Keep The Vote: Georgia. The new service is designed to help Georgia voters check their registration status and know whether they are currently eligible to participate in upcoming elections. The service will soon proactively contact recently unenrolled voters to ensure they were not mistakenly removed from the electoral rolls.
Keep The Vote is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, voter education and registration organization that aims to identify unregistered voters and help them to register. Its members are experienced cybersecurity professionals applying their talents to secure America’s voting freedoms. "Americans fought long and hard for the right to participate in open and free elections. Today we work to support the right of all legally entitled people to vote for their chosen representatives,” said Kirk Strauser, Keep The Vote’s President. Paul Miller, Executive Vice President, stated “We know from experience that putting together even the smallest of defenses can stop an adversary in their tracks and send them to the next target. We’re democratizing defense of voting rights.”
Upcoming fundraising projects will finance obtaining more, and newer, publicly available voter registration data, expanding coverage to more states, and sending alert messages to recently disenfranchised voters.
